Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana movie Review: Appreciation by the audience but mainstream reviewers killed it!

shaadi mein zaroor aana movie review full film

Shaadi mein zaroor aana movie review.

I suggest you read this article till the end and if you like it then share it with your friends, not because of my support or any outstanding review for this particular movie, but for a much larger issue – How we are being fooled by so-called journalists/reviewers who, I suppose do it for their own benefit.

This is a very dangerous trend how easily these news-traders impose their thought on us and we just follow them blindly.

Think of a movie with below mentioned notable points :

  • IMDB rating – 8.4/10. Literally, very few movies got such great applause – Till date there are only 11 Hindi movies which got the 8.4 or above rating – Source IMDB top rated indian movies listed, which I believe not updated for sometime )
  • 97% google users liked this film.
  • Book my show – 8/10 , user rating 4.3/5

Please note that all these ratings are provided by the viewers, who have either gone to movie hall or watched at home through the pirated copy.

I got the soft copy of the movie – ‘Shaadi mein zaroor aana’ from one of my friend which I had stored in my pen drive. I checked the all leading portals before watching it and then I decided to delete it and called to my frind to get his opinion and he forced me to watch with the entire family. I convinced to waste my valuable 2 & 1/2 hours and watched it with my brother only.

It is great to see that this movie is the directional debut of it Director – Ratna Sinha.

It was so gripping and exciting movie that I couldn’t believe that below mentioned newspaper reviews belong to the movie – ‘Shaadi mein jaroor aana’.

See the verdict given by these reviewers/critics:

The Hindu – “No sense of direction”

NDTV ( Rating 1.5/5) – “Despite Rajkummar Rao, Ignore This Invite”

Koimoi (Rating 2/5) :

Firstpost (Rating 2.5/5) : “Even Rajkummar Rao cannot rescue this romantic drama”

Times of India (Rating 3/5) : ” The film could have been much better than it eventually turns out to be. But if you don’t mind watching a modest family drama, reminiscent of the 90s, you won’t mind being privy to this emotional alliance”.

Hindustan Times (Rating 3.5/5) : “An entertainer that takes on sexism, dowry and corruption”

Indian Express (Rating : 1.5/5) : “The Rajkummar Rao starrer will leave you confused”

Bollywoodhungama.com – (Rating 2/5)

Scroll.in : “Invitation declined”

Dainik Bhaskar – (Rating 2/5)

Rediff (Rating 1.5/5) : “Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is a snoozefest”

See how viewers rated the movie on IMDB

My humble suggestion to all critics and also an urge that gives your review/rating the next day after the release of the film. Just get the opinion from viewers returning after watching the movie and you may also see the comments provided on online portals by moviegoers. Also after publishing their own review, they should check the comments provided on their review by viewers.

We all should just ignore these Incorrect and misleading reviews and just go to IMDB or viewers comments on any of the above-mentioned reviews.

There must be something, which we don’t know why these journalists always prop-up false news or pushing their own agenda.

They must know one thing that if they don’t do their job honestly, then people will surely not going to tolerate for long.

I found this movie a full entertainer for my entire family. This should not be missed for moviegoers who are looking to watch and have fun with the entire family.

After watching this movie through pirated copy with my brother, next day I went with my wife and kid to movie hall to watch the movie and I registered my opinion and positive review of this movie on a couple of portals. That is how I supported a great work.

My suggestion to everyone who is reading this article – do not fall into the trap of these news-traders and encourage those who are doing good work.

Though ” Meri Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana” has declared flop, but I can remember “Hum Appke Hain Kaun” which also got the cold response initially before becoming a super-hit.

Please share your feedback.
