Which is India's Best 4G Network provider | Telecom

The Indian telecom market is now left with only 4 players – Reliance Jio, Bharti-Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL/MTNL.

As consumers, we have already seen the fiercest battle among around a dozen telecom providers. As expected, now it is a ball game of only 4 companies. Further consolidation seems far distant barring the future decision of GOI on BSNL/MTNL and to some extent Vodafone Idea.

After the AGR ruling of the Supreme Court, it was understood by the domain experts that the AGR ruling has dented Vodafone Idea most. If queries/issues of Vodafone Idea will not be addressed in a justifiable manner, it may become another player to exit the market.

Before the entry of Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel was on top in terms of revenue & profitability.

But people don’t care about the financials of the company, they care most for real issues like network performance, call drop issues, call & internet charges, internet speed, handling customer issues, etc.

In the previous few years, GOI has used the telecom sector in achieving its own financial targets. As the government promoted cashless transactions, it has perfectly used the UPI in doing the transactions worth over $27 Billion.

Most of us have experienced all of the four service providers in our lifetime. Hence, in case of any issue with existing telecom service provider, one can easily switch to another one.

Let’s vote here for your choice for India’s best 4G network or telecom service provider.

#1 Reliance Jio

As per the figure of November 2019, Reliance Jio was India’s biggest telecom service provider with just over 32% market share & around 37 crore subscribers.

In the year 2016, Reliance Jio transformed the market in a true sense. Jio abolished the voice call charges and claimed that there will not be any call charges in the future.

But Reliance Jio surprised everyone, 3 years later in 2019 by imposing IUC charges. However, the other positive things with Jio has motivated subscribers to stay with Jio.

#2 Bharti Airtel

From the top position in terms of total subscribers & revenue, now Bharti Airtel is at number 3 spot. As of November 2019, Airtel had over 32 crore subscribers & 28.35% market share.

#3 Vodafone Idea

Can Vodafone Idea survive the financial burden? This is a big question for the number 2 player. With 33.6crore subscribers, Vodafone Idea keeps over 29% of the vote share.

#4 BSNL

As per the indications of government, we may see its disinvestment in the near future. With over 12 crore subscribers, BSNL has more than 10% of the market share.
